Orderbird was founded in 2011 as a Berlin based start-up for iPad POS solutions for the gastronomy business. In the very beginning they were located at Betahouse Kreuzberg with a team of 15 people: the founders and a lot of developers.
In order to start the business, orderbird wanted an integrated solution for order management, purchasing, logistics and a webshop. From the deal to start using NetSuite we had only one week in June 2011. We started with the standard functions and over time implemented all the requirements without having to say „no – we can‘t do it“. The flexibility of the NetSuite platform was capable till today to deliver all requirements. NetSuite has accompanied orderbird with several office changes, the growth of the team to about 180 people, adding additional solutions as SalesForce and Zuora.
